Just constant aggressive hate towards the wealthyīut the REASON why people like Harvey Specter exist is specifically because of their passion for their work. Hard to tell because they never explicately cover their own incomesīut it led me to think about all the whining society does today about rich people-“they don’t deserve it”, “they’re just lucky”, “they came from wealthy parents” on and on and on. In the show, they’re both partners in a top firm in NYC, and Harvey has an estimated net worth of $50,000,000-$100,000,000. I was watching Suits this afternoon and Harvey and Louis were reminiscing in the bullpen about pulling all-nighters and working for dozens of hours straight to finish a case when they were just green associates without a penny between them. And so clearly doing it right - because these absurd emails are just confirmation that her decision (auto reject self selected out on the basis of absurd behavior) was the correct one. You think I’m going to go to my colleague and what? Tell her not to shut down absurd people? Tell her that she’s in trouble? Then have you throw a temper tantrum about how I don’t understand and it really was a hostile work environment. You’re - you’re emailing me to do what? Because you think I’m going to drop what I’m doing, call you on the phone, and feed your already massive sense of entitlement? Tell you I am so sorry that we rejected you for being an absurd human being and beg to spend 30 minutes listening to your whole story- Then tell you that you don’t have a case. Don’t make me laugh so hard I spit out my Celsius. They frequently say that I should reach out to them directly if I would like them to consider our firm for their case. So when people start getting out of line or ridiculous, she politely declines them and ends the conversation. She’s a total professional and supreme diplomat. You see, the supposedly so rude person in my office has worked with me for nearly a decade.
